Medication Technician (Med Tech) administers resident medications ordered by doctor under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Clinical Care. The Med Tech is also responsible for monitoring residents’ health concerns, maintain proper reporting and standard documentation practices. The Med Tech will assist residents with daily living needs in a safe, clean, and pleasant environment, while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
Resident Care Aides are responsible for providing direct resident care such as , but not limited to, bathing, dressing, taking vitals, linen changes and proper documentation in a professional, compassionate and skillful manner. RCA’s work with the facility’s healthcare team to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive home for residents. Under the guidance of professional staff, Resident Care Aides provide assistance to residents as needed to help them remain as independent as possible. A CENA license is not required.
Housekeepers work under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services and perform the following tasks: clean resident rooms, clean public areas, assist other departments in moving residents to different rooms, and other cleaning duties as assigned.
Dietary Aids work under the supervision of the Director of Dining Services. The Dietary Aid performs tasks such as, but not limited to, serving meals, preparing and cleaning the dining area, washing and putting away dishes and stocking shelves. The Dietary Aid ensures that sanitary and the handling of food safety standards are maintained above the levels that are acceptable by the State and Federal regulations.
